Cyril Parke was born in Sligo town in 1937 and began his career with Sligo County Council .Cyril moved to Dublin in 1961 and started working in the steel industry. He set up his own business in 1968 and founded Peleus Ltd in conjunction with IMS-UK Ltd. in 1983. Cyril never Retired.
Cyril was a keen Golfer, a proud Sligo man who always kept a close eye on how his native Sligo Footballers were going, an optimist in Business as in personal matters and always enjoyed life. He passed away in Feburary 2008 R.I.P.
Cyril is very much missed by all his friends in the steel industry in Ireland and UK, not only for his vast knowledge and experience but for his great personality & wit, a true gentleman.
